1. Christmas in Seoul: Experience the Magic of H Village at The Hyundai Seoul

The holiday season in Seoul is truly magical, and one of the most enchanting places to experience Christmas in Seoul is H Village at The Hyundai Seoul. This European-inspired Christmas street, located on the fifth floor of the mall’s Sounds Forest, brings the festive spirit to life with spectacular decorations and events. Here’s everything you need to know to make the most of your visit to H Village.

How to Visit H Village: Reservation and Waitlist

H Village operates on an advance reservation basis through Naver Forms, which is open to both locals and international visitors. Due to the high demand and limited capacity, securing a reservation can be challenging. However, if you’re unable to book in advance, there’s still hope—on-site waitlists are available.

To join the waitlist:

  • Scan the QR Code: You can find the QR code on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors near the escalators.
  • Register and Refresh: After scanning, follow the link and refresh the page at 11:30 AM to complete your sign-up process.
  • Queue Number: Once registered, you’ll receive your queue number via KakaoTalk messenger. Make sure to download and set up the app in advance for easy access.

If you don’t use KakaoTalk, you can still get assistance from the staff at the Christmas Village entrance near the LG store. Simply provide your group size, and they will issue a queue card with your estimated admission time. Note that each card covers up to four people, so if your group exceeds that, you will need additional cards.

Tips for Enjoying the Pursuit of Christmas Moment

  • Best Photo Spot: A top recommendation from Shinsegae Department Store’s VMD (Visual Merchandiser) is to take photos in front of the Seoul Central Post Office (Hoehyeon Underground Shopping Center, Exit 1). From this location, you can capture the full show along with the beautifully illuminated fountain in one shot.
  • Stay Warm While Watching: If you’d like to relax and enjoy the video for a longer time, head to Starbucks – Central Post Office Branch. It’s the perfect spot to watch from the comfort of a warm drink.
