There are only two months to the end of the year 2024! To fully enjoy the year to the end, here is the show for the October. It’s Seoul Light Show 2024 which will be held in Yeouido from October 4 to October 13.

The ‘2024 Seoul Light Hangang Bitseom Festival’, which opens at Yeouido Hangang Park on October 4, welcomes citizens with a variety of lights.
The Bitseom Festival, now in its second year, will be held in the Yeouido Hangang Park area from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. every day for 10 days until the 13th. It consists of programs such as <Lazer Art>, <Light Run>, and <Bitseom Lecture>, and the keyword is ‘Bitseom 3L’, which is derived from the first English letters of each program.
The Light Run event which will be held on the evening of the 12th is a visual running program in which citizens run around Yeouido Park holding a light pole. A public relations ambassador for Seoul, Sean(Singer) plans to create a huge moving media art strip with about 3,000 citizens.
In particular, Light Run is a donation running program in which a portion of the participation fee is delivered to visually impaired children. As with last year, through an agreement with Big Walk(step donation platform), donations are accumulated (200 won per 1 km) according to the distance participants run.
The city plans to promote the Han River as a world-renowned light festival destination by holding the Bitseom Festival on a rotating basis every year on six islands. That includes Seorae Island last year and Yeouido this year.
Meanwhile, the city conducted a safety inspection of Bitseom Festival site on the 30th. As it is expected that many citizens will visit due to the fireworks festival schedule, Seoul Metropolitan Government plans to install several layers of safety fences to disperse the crowds.
